Crossnet: it’s a combination of four square and volleyball, and it looks amazing. Volleyball is incredible in its own right, but it requires a decent amount of space to play... and if you only have 4 people sometimes it isn't actually that fun. Crossnet is volleyball reimagined, and I for one, am absolutely here for it. It's super easy to set up, and can be played literally anywhere.
WHAT ARE THE RULES?
It's honestly pretty straightforward. You can certainly just make up rules if you want to suit your own style, but these are the official Crossnet rules as provided by the creators of the game:
- + The playing field is divided into four squares. One of the four squares is designated as the serving/scoring position. Position 4 means you're serving, and you can only score when you're serving.
- + The player in position 4 stars the game by serving diagonally across from their position.
- + From that point, it's a free for all. Any player can volley the ball into any square. If the ball lands in your square, you have to go back to the 1st position.
- + The game is played until 11, or until someone gets a bloody nose after getting hit in the face with an aggressive spike.
PRICE
The Crossnet retails for $150 which seems pretty reasonable, right?
