Here’s a simple solution to annoying problem. For some odd reason, not every remote control has built-in illumination. What does that mean? When you’re watching Netflix at night, especially in bed, it’s hard to see what button is what.
Whether it’s an Amazon fire stick or a ROKU remote, the buttons aren’t easy to see at night. So, you end up doing one of two things. 1) You simply take an educated guess, hoping that your finger has found the right button. 2) You grab your smartphone to light up the controller, which might require you to unplug your phone from the charger.
Both of those are ridiculous options! Television is often viewed at night with the lights off, so why don’t all remote controllers light up? Often times, you’ll end up hitting the wrong button.. which might result in pausing, rewinding, launching a new application. This is entirely avoidable.
