The auto-loading filament feature adds a certain level of convenience, but we'll soon see what kind of reception the Model 1 receives.

So, what exactly is it?
The Stanley Model 1 is an enclosed box 3D printer, that features an auto-loading cartridge filament system. Black & Decker claims this will provide a more straightforward and user-friendly experience. Compared to some of the more complex 3D printers that require more labor-intensive setup, the Model 1 should serve as an easier way for newcomers to venture into 3D printing. Connect the Model 1 over wifi to your computer/downloaded software, and should be off to the races.
